Core Environmental Beliefs

N.E.W. Plastics Corp is headquartered in Luxemburg, Wisconsin less than 10 minutes from the shores of Lake Michigan. With such inspiring natural surroundings, preserving our environment is always top of mind. N.E.W. Plastics Corp. has been a leader in sustainability since 1968 when our founder, Irvin Vincent, first began exploring the possibility of recycled plastic.

Products That Are Recyclable

Our founder was a pioneer in plastics recycling. We continue to follow his lead with aggressive recycling programs in our corporate offices and manufacturing center.

What's more, we produce products that can be recycled, and we will recycle the product we make.

Recycled Content

We developed the industry's first plastic lumber, creating a viable consumer market that could divert from our landfills. In that spirit, we buy office and packaging supplies that contain post-consumer and post-industrial waste. We are PVC- and BPA-free.

Conservation

We focus on limiting consumption by purchasing renewable energy, using efficient lighting and reclaiming water through a closed loop system. We are an active participant in Wisconsin Public Service's (WPS) "Peak Energy Interrupt" program.

Education

From advocacy to inspiration - we aim to motivate our team members, our clients, and our community by demonstrating personal and economic incentives to good environmental stewardship.

Environmentally Preferable Purchasing

We continuously seek out the most environmentally friendly products each time a new item is brought in-house. Current supplies are also reviewed for sustainability.
